The female junior football team from Afghanistan has managed to leave Kabul and is now in Lisbon – Portugal – with the refugee status. The 26 girls, between 14- and 16-year-old, have arrive Portugal on the 20th of September, embedded in a group of 80 Afghan refugees, and are now accommodated in a Lisbon’s youth residential, with a special permit to keep-on playing football in one of the several local football teams.
A seleção juvenil feminina de futebol do Afeganistão conseguiu deixar Cabul e está agora em Lisboa – Portugal – com o estatuto de refugiadas. As 26 raparigas, entre os 14 e os 16 anos, chegaram a Portugal no dia 20 de setembro, integradas num grupo de 80 refugiados afegãos, e encontram-se agora alojadas numa residencial para a juventude de Lisboa, com uma autorização especial de permanência e um programa para continuarem a jogar futebol num dos vários estádios de Lisboa.
